Pioneering the community of South Park, Flower Street Lofts was the first of several loft projects transforming the face of Downtown Los Angeles. The building is located on Flower between 11th and 12th streets. Built in 1936, it originally worn the title of being LA's main distribution center for the United Parcel Service (UPS). Converted in 2003 by Lee Homes - CIM Group the loft project sits at the focal point of South Park's vibrant community and the emerging LA Live project.
Originally 3 stories high, a 4th story penthouse level was added to the structure. The Flower street lofts offer some of the tallest residential ceilings in the area (14' to 20'). Where conveyor belts and hand sorters once worked to fill the famous brown UPS trucks now lay modern refined spaces that attract new and adventurous loft dwellers. The residences are filled with expansive windows, exposed ceilings, concrete floors, gourmet kitchens, well appointed bathrooms, and are pre-wired for high speed internet and cable access.
A place to work, and place to live. Flower Street Lofts offers residents the marvels of LA's exciting past, present, and future.
