Designed by Reid Brothers Architects in the "Classic Revival Style," the DB is designated by the Cultural Heritage Commission of the City of Los Angeles as Historical Cultural Monument No. 966, is located just two blocks south of City Hall and one block from the Grand Central Market, and benefits from The Mills Act, which offers up to a 70% reduction in real estate taxes. Unit 2G is one of the most spectacular residences in the Douglas, as it sits on the corner of Spring and 3rd Streets, with dramatic views of Spring Street, the world-famous Bradbury building, and part of the DTLA Skyline. Because of its configuration, Unit 2G enjoys has many windows along both sides. In 2005, the DB was sold-out before it even opened.
